Contrary to popular belief, projecting your voice does not mean shouting . When you project , you simply raise the volume of your natural speaking voice without losing control of it (that’s when it becomes “shouting” ). To find out the difference between projecting and shouting ,you can think of  the difference between talking to someone in a noisy restaurant, and calling your brother in from the backyard.

You must always project while giving a speech , even if you are presenting in a small room. During the firt minute of speaking , watch your audience members’  faces (especially the ones in the back row) carefully to see if they look confused . If you notice that they are not paying attention from the very start , stop yourself and ask if everyone can hear you. But if you are using a microphone , speak at normal volume , but a little more slowly and clearly.

این سه فعل ،فعل بعد از خود را به شکل ساده (مصدر بدون    to )در می آورند.

Conjunctions

 

حرف ربط کلمه ای است که بین دو کلمه دو عبارت  یا دو جمله می آید. در کتاب شما چهار درس از مجموع هشت درسی که باید بخوانید به حرف ربط اختصاص دارد.پس کمی تامل کن و دقت!

(حرف ربط زمان)       : Conjunction of time

 

­کاربرد: دو عمل که با فاصله زمانی متوالی انجام شود.      When(وقتی که)                           

When I heard the doorbell ;I opened the door.

نکته1 :کاربردهای دیگر

گذشته استمراری+گذشته ساده+when

گذشته ساده +   + when گذشته استمراری

 

    کاربرد:دو عمل که هم زمان انجام شوند.                    as( زمانی که)

 

I saw Peter as I was getting off the bus.

نکته2:as بیانگر تناسب دو عمل است که به طور موازی صورت می گیرد.در این صورت در دو طرف جمله صفت تفضیلی به کار می رود.

As your muscles get stronger; you do more active things for longer period of time.

نکته 3:کاربردهای دیگر

گذشته ساده+گذشته استمراری+as/while

گذشته استمراری+as/while+گذشته ساده

 

 conjunction of reason:         (حرف ربط علت)

  (زیرا-چون)because---(چون-زیرا)   since ---(از آنجایی که)as

کاربرد:برای بیان علت انجام کاری

As I was too hungry; I stopped to buy a sandwich.

She didn't go out because it was raining.

Since the exercise is too easy; we can easily do it.

 

نکته4:در زمان ماضی نقلی (   since  )می توانددلالت بر زمان داشته باشد.

گذشته ساده+since +ماضی نقلی

 

conjunction of condition:(حرف ربط وضعیت)  

( Whether-----------or(چه-------چه)

کاربرد:نشان دهنده وضعیت و شرط است.بیان کننده آن است که دو وضعیت مطرح شده مهم نیستند چون در هر صورت نتیجه یکسان خواهد بود.

You will have to accept it whether you like or not.
